The Studio as a Canvas: Paint a Giant Mural

The FN Lab introduces a series of participatory workshops where children are invited to assume the role of the “artist in the studio” and apply their own design elements to the Studio Youth space. These workshops encourage collaborative art-making practices: children will explore new techniques and learn how to work collectively on their final artworks.

In this workshop you will explore the idea of the studio as a site of creative expression and inspiration. Can the lines between studio surfaces and the canvas blur? To test this, you will be working as a group to create a large three-dimensional collage on the main wall of the Studio Youth space!
