Presented in view of El Anatsui’s work Detsi (2008-2021) in B1, Mintah will play tracks from the artist’s personal record collection, providing a unique insight into the cultural influences that have played a significant and shaping role in shaping the artist’s visual language and career. Among the featured records are those by notable artists such as Johnson Adjan & His Opiri Group, Aretha Franklin, Guy Warren, Vicky ‘Manze Onuba, and Fela Kuti.
